Bullet point Support Services

Enabling people with learning difficulties or other disabilities to lead a full and active life. Our service users are typically people with learning difficulties, and those suffering from mental illness or brain damage. Our support enables our service users to live their lives to the full. This may involve helping them become more independent, and supporting them with their daily activies.

All service users are individually assessed and a comprehensive risk assessment is carried out before a tailored support programme is prepared to meet their precise needs.

Our aim is to provide an environment in which our service user can flourish and become more independent, thus giving them the choices of carer and the level of support we provide.

What Services are Available:

  • Individual support packages
  • Support provided directly under the direct payments scheme
  • Specialist supported living services often on a 1:1 24/7 basis.
  • Social and community support to access local facilities and opportunities.
  • Respite/short Breaks including sitting services and holidays.
  • Housing support services including support with managing daily tasks, paying bills and maintaining a home.
  • Assisting individuals to access education, training and employment opportunities.

Bullet point Domiciliary Home Care

Helping individuals with life’s essentials - personal hygiene, food preparation, getting up and dressed for the day and other daily activities.

For our service users, who are often frail or have a physical disability, our domiciliary care service allows them to remain living in their own homes rather than moving into a residential care home. The home care we provide can range from 60 minutes per week for help with bathing, to an intensive palliative home care programme 24 hours a day. Whatever the package of support needed, each and every service user is individually assessed and monitored to ensure that we provide exactly the right care at the all times.

Bullet point Live-In Care

Lincolns Care provides a 24 hour live-in-care service.

Live-in-care is an increasingly popular form of care and offers an excellent alternative to moving to a care home. Having a live-in carer provides many benefits including:

  • Service Users can enjoy the independence they have always had.
  • Service Users can keep up much of their daily routine which includes choosing their meals at meal times and TV entertainment.
  • Service Users may not have to part with a much loved pet or other treasured possessions.
  • The reassuring benefit of keeping the family home so that friends and family can visit whenever they want.

Whatever the reason, the support of our service allows our Service Users to continue to enjoy living an independent life.

Lincolns Care acknowledges that every individual has differing needs and requirements, therefore by putting the service user at the centre of our care, we aim to provide a service that is flexible and tailor made. This will ensure that our service users have total control regarding the care which is provided. We pride ourselves on providing a service which promotes freedom, independence, and choice.

Should you choose us you will find the reassurance of knowing that someone is always there to assist with personal care or housekeeping, or to provide much needed companionship.
